I’m Harikesh, an animator turned entrepreneur and the founder of Airborn.
My relationship with sport began at the age of four—with hiking, wrestling and Mallakhamb—and continued through judo and athletics during school and college. Yet, as I grew up, I found myself surrounded mostly by international sports and outdoor brands. Somewhere between the athlete and animator in me, a question kept growing: why not build a homegrown brand that truly understands the Indian outdoor enthusiast?
In 2023, I stepped away from my career as a 3D animator, having worked with Nickelodeon and on projects across different platforms, to pursue that idea. After a year of research, Airborn was founded in 2025.
Our vision is simple: create quality, comfortable outdoor gear and tell stories that inspire people to get outside. And that’s something we never intend to compromise on.
